It’s hard to imagine that Taylor and Annah didn’t meet until 2019.
They had gone to the same events, frequented the same restaurants, and even grew up ten minutes away from each other.
Truly, their lives had already aligned before they even met.
And when they did finally meet, their relationship naturally flourished. Like two puzzle pieces, Taylor and Annah share so many of the same interests, with just enough differences to make them a complete pair.
On their early dates, Annah was captivated by Taylor’s ability to make every moment feel magical, like discovering and exploring a Hallmark movie set on their way home from their third date, which felt like something Taylor had whipped up out of thin air. Taylor knew he had found someone special when Annah taught him how to dance the hora in the middle of a restaurant on their second date—watch his footwork at the wedding!
Their budding love made them feel like they were floating on air, that is until Annah took a tumble skating on the frozen river trail on their first Valentine’s Day date and broke her elbow. After Taylor’s heroic rescue, a night at the hospital, and a lot of morphine, Annah technically proposed first by suggesting they elope that very day!
While Taylor took her for breakfast instead, they did exchange their first “I love yous” shortly after, with some help from Taylor’s brother, Tyler. How was Annah supposed to know that the jokingly said “I love you” on the car speaker phone came from Tyler instead? Well anyways, I guess Annah did that first too when she responded, “I love you too.”
The next seven years carried all of Taylor and Annah’s favourite things: museum visits, concerts, hosting theme parties, visiting their favourite restaurants and cocktail lounges, spending time with their friends and families, dancing, and designing their home together.
They get to do everything they’ve always loved, but this time, lost in their own world together.
